Easy Evacuation Chair is used to evacuate a person down stairs and out of a building quickly and safely. Designed for emergency situations such as a fire or a lift not operating in multi-storey buildings. Can be operated by 1-4 people. The passenger is strapped into the chair. If one person operates the easy evacuation chair, the passenger can use the footrest. If two people transport the chair, the footrest can be used as a handle and the passenger’s feet rest between the handles.   The rubber tracks on the chair are speed limited which makes for a controlled descent The Easy Evacuation Chair can be used to carry a person upstairs. However, this will require 3-4 strong people to carry the chair without touching the stairs- ie the tracks will not go upwards.   Generally speaking, if you need to move a person upstairs, you should consider the motorised Kris II. Instructions for use are shown on the back of the chair.
